As the sole technical writer at Rival, I create and maintain all user-facing documentation across our HR software suite — including Workflow, Recruit, Learn, and Perform.Based in Product Marketing, I work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to translate complex systems and rapid release activity into content that’s clear, accurate, and actionable. In a period of fast growth and frequent releases, I’ve helped shape processes that keep teams aligned — ensuring CS stays informed, PMM has what it needs for launches, and clients can adopt new features confidently.Key Responsibilities– Develop and maintain Help Center content by investigating Jira tickets, reviewing updates, and collaborating with PMs, Engineers, and Designers to confirm product behavior and user impact.– Write user guides and release notes that explain new features and enhancements in accessible, user-friendly language.– Provide feedback during sprint demos and walk-throughs, helping teams identify gaps, clarify functionality, and resolve issues early in the release cycle.– Structure and maintain the Help Center content ROSI, Rival’s in-app AI assistant, references when generating in-app responses and links.– Manage Help Center organization and publication, including the migration from AuthorIt to MadCap Flare and optimization for scalability and AI retrieval.– Collaborate cross-functionally to uncover undocumented changes and ensure materials reflect the most current product state.Core SkillsTechnical Writing • Product Documentation • Information Architecture • Release Notes & Launch Enablement • Help Center Management (AuthorIt → MadCap Flare) • Cross-Functional Collaboration • Jira Research & Content Validation • AI Assistant Support (ROSI) • Stakeholder Communication • Product Feedback & Quality Review
