Front of House Manager @Falmouth University

Venue Management • Venue management of events in both Academy of Music and Theatre Arts (AMATA) and events taking place across campus and in venues across Cornwall. • Manage relationship with Hall for Cornwall programming and education development team (key events include: Cornwall Secondary Drama Showcase & RSC Associate Schools Programme etc.). • Represent Falmouth University at sector networking events. • Advise AMATA Director and Producer on suitability of performance proposals. Event Management • Full event management responsibility for events taking place within AMATA. • Work with senior management colleagues regarding campus events providing an advisory service. • Supporting Falmouth University event teams with large scale Campus Events. • Management of the Box Office/Ticketing services. • Ensure compliance with GDPR/Finance regulations and policies (PCI DSS). • Writing and managing financial reports relating to ticket sales and audience statistics. • Management of marketing production and content (print, social media, PR & Comms). Front of House • Management of all FOH Staff. • Management of the Audience Experience. • Managing and negotiating service provision for AMATA Events. • Management of all Front of House Communications. Health & Safety Management • Leading, managing and taking responsibility for Health & Safety practices at AMATA Events. • Creating and taking signatory responsibility for risk assessments pertaining to FOH, Event Catering activities and Visiting Companies. • Deliver training on Front of House policies and procedures. Administration and Management • Participating in production/operations/project/steering group meetings. • Fundraising for the AMATA Performance Programme. • Delivering accurate data entry, information collation and written reports. • Ensuring that AMATA’s performance programme generates opportunities for Falmouth University students. • Acting as the lead facilitator for the AMATA Student Festival.
