   I synthesize my business development background and education leadership to: design/develop new programs; department and site strategies; training and circular programming; build relationships and foster teamwork and creativity. Finding new revenue, donors, and partners, has increased our visibility, but funded much-needed equipment and materials; provided opportunities beyond the classroom such as ensembles, jazz groups, camps, competitions and invitations to play with bands, such as the US Marine Band. Both students and I have been recognized on local, national and global levels.I direct and manage the overall instrumental music program across multiple sites Leads and develops five direct reports and seven staff members. Directly involved in fundraising and grant requests/funding. Personally accountable for adherence to district, state and federal laws, requirements and mandates; managing process improvement; training and professional development. Handles budgeting, reporting, asset procurement and management. Facilitates and manages local and global events. Teaches 436 students grades 6-12 and delivers student and staff evaluations. Ensures student growth and achievement opportunities for long-term success. I have served students in similar roles in school districts in Missouri and Arkansas.
