ABOUT RAND BAWAB
As an Assistant Project Manager at EllisDon, I am involved in the furniture, equipment, and design aspects of the Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment project, one of the largest health care projects in British Columbia. I work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient procurement, delivery and commissioning of the project\'s equipment. I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Victoria in April 2021, where I developed strong skills in engineering design, project management, and presentation skills. I also have experience as a Regional Biomedical Engineer at Island Health and Providence Health Care, as well as an Equipment Planner at Fraser Health Authority, where I contributed to the planning and implementation of Phase 1 and 2 of the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project. I am passionate about applying my clinical equipment knowledge and technical engineering skills to improve the quality and safety of health care facilities and services.
