I lead an exceptional team of software developers, system engineers, cloud architects, and other IT professionals in delivering best-in-class solutions to our customers. These include multiple government entities, like NASA, the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and Fortune 500 organizations like Canon U.S.A. and Lockheed Martin. As leader, I provide my team with strategic direction and then work with them side by side to help businesses and government entities deliver on promises they\'ve made to their stakeholders. I\'m honored to say that we\'ve been building procurement systems for the ASN(RDA) DASN(P) for many years. The trust that implies makes me proud of what we do at Avum. We manage everything from orchestrating current cloud architectures to building the Navy\'s core contract writing modules. I also orchestrate the development of the portfolio of applications for DASN(P). Over the years, we\'ve also completed considerable work for Canon U.S.A, writing the Unix operating systems and building the Teradata database machine. I reengineered business processes and system architecture at Canon to design, integrate, build, and deploy Canon\'s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. Before launching Avum in 1991, I taught computer science at National University and worked on large government projects. Working for the National Reconnaissance Office, I led the design, development, and implementation of the Network Security Server. I also designed, developed, and implemented the Federal Telecommunications System billing system and designed, coded, and implemented a systems network that enabled processing on multiple real-time telemetry processing streams for the Naval Air Test Center Patuxent River.
