In my role as General Counsel of a leading healthcare data analytics organization, my core responsibilities include- Executive leader over all Legal and Compliance functions- Member of Company’s Executive Leadership Team involved in strategic planning activities and responsible for maintaining compliance with legal/regulatory requirements- Advise Board of Directors, ownership group, executive management and other business departments regarding various corporate issues with an emphasis on balancing business and legal requirements- Primary Executive Team responsibility for all litigation and risk management, regulatory compliance and contract interpretation activities- Conduct negotiation of government and commercial customer agreements in collaboration with multiple internal partners including sales, operations, finance, and executive management to achieve business objectives while minimizing company risk- Negotiate vendor contracts across all company departments (i.e, IT, marketing, facilities, operations). Team with department leads to understand business needs and risks- Primary in-house counsel for mergers and acquisitions and financing activities- Maintain all Board of Directors, stockholder and intellectual property (patent, trademark and copyright) records.
