Materials Supply Chain Manager with over fifteen years of project management expertise in Supply Chain, Operations and New Business Development. Designs, analyzes and develops innovative procedures to streamline the daily operations, eliminate waste and enhance the revenue stream. PROVEN ACCOMPLISHMENTS Analyzed supply inventory usage, order requirements and emergency needs to identify where company could reduce on-hand inventory by 15-20% in order to reduce holding costs. With the goal of maintaining product availability, discussed the project with department managers and developed new reorder points for each inventory item. RESULT: Within three months, on-hand inventory was reduced by $2.7 million with a 19% reduction of annual holding costs of Developed a plan for moving a warehouse full of supplies and records to a newly constructed and larger space. Challenged with making the move with existing racking, developed a plan and implemented the move over three days without affecting the supply chain at the hospital department level, allowing supplies to be available for patient care. RESULT: The move was accomplished without disruption and within timeline and all deliveries were made to the hospitals and departments as normally scheduled with minimized labor and expense. Collaborated with department managers to find ways to eliminate excess printers and provide less costly equipment with increased capabilities. Put together a project team of Materials Management, Information Systems and Print Services to plan and execute the careful but thorough elimination of inefficient and redundant printers by upgrading to multi-function print (MFP) equipment.
