In this role I am responsible for the design and deployment of a number of highly scalable, parallel and performant Apache Airflow environments. I also developed and maintain internal Python libraries which provides a simplified interface to launching massively parallelizable jobs in ECS/Fargate for cost effective and performant ephemeral compute instances. This library also provides capabilities for resource capping and restrictions, and controlled parallelism. I consult with other departments in how to build and deploy highly scalable and performance data processing and analytic pipelines.Developed group standards and development process for Python coding, Docker Containerization, SQL, Gitlab Repository organization and CI/CD pipelines.I develop and maintain scalable and performant data pipelines leveraging AWS cloud solutions, Python, Postgres and Snowflake.
