Executive professional in precision medicine drug development, biomarker discovery and diagnostics with over 26 years of experience in building operationally effective teams in R&D pre-clinical, translational and clinical research along with drug, device, diagnostics, companion diagnostics and biomarker development leading to innovative patient and research impacting breakthroughs.My professional experience has focused on building operationally effective execution teams and on clinical and translational research leadership. Building strong global collaborations and strategic alliances in therapeutic, device, diagnostic and companion diagnostic development has also been a key endeavor throughout my career. I have successfully led teams in the design and oversight of thousands of clinical trials and research and development projects at my current company BD Biosciences and with my prior organizations Invitae/ArcherDX, AstraZeneca, Celldex, Biodesix, Merck, Genentech/Roche, Novartis and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. I have also built Program Management, R&D, Translational Medicine, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs teams in support of scientific strategy, clinical, regulatory and commercial endeavors. I have also been involved in the development and commercial launch of 18 new therapies and 12 diagnostics.
