My fire service career began in 1979 and since that time I have progressed through the ranks accepting positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of fire suppression, fire and accident prevention, rescue, special operations and emergency medical services. I have experience in incident command, management, strategy and tactics, pre-emergency planning, administration and program development.My experience working in local government includes leadership, strategic planning, budgeting and financial management, labor relations and policy and procedure development. I have also worked on local, regional and State projects outside of what is considered the traditional fire service.
