Leadership Challenges and Outcomes •2020 COVID pandemic - full facility shutdown, limited reopening and then begin organizational recovery. o Led limited and then full facility re-opening and restart of aquatics, youth programs and childcare, o Successful launch of licensed, full day childcare program, new summer camp site and new After-school childcare site, o $4.4 million in revenue with a ($1.6 million) operating loss; 2,600 membership units •2021 Hurricane Ida - entire ground floor flooding, demolition and rebuild. o Led the organization through the devastating damage due to flooding from Hurricane Ida, including remediation, reconstruction and reopening of the entire ground floor (childcare, aquatics & membership), o Concurrent planning & construction of new fitness facility, o Start of Strategic Planning process. o $6.8 million in revenue with a operating surplus; membership units •2022 Strategic planning, CEO retirement and open new fitness facility. o Led the organization during transition as former CEO retired in May, and then began the onboarding of the new CEO in July; served as Interim CEO in June, o Opened a new facility in June and continued operational recovery o Adopted new Strategic Plan and signed agreement to open a new Nursery School in 2023, o Completed $800K FEMA Grant and $1.3M SBA Loan application for flood recovery & mitigation funding. o $8.8 million in revenue with a operating surplus; membership units
