    The Operations technical lead on New Product Development (NPD) core teams. Responsible for all NPD deliverables from Operations including oversight and interface with the extended Operations team. General responsibilities include, deliverables in the areas of Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Packaging, Graphics, and Production Tooling associated with the development of new products. Responsibilities include: Preparing project plans and Gantts. Develop component and assembly tooling strategy to meet customer takt time and standard cost targets. Responsible for producibility / process capability, manufacturing processes to meet Lean and QIP targets. Develop tooling strategy, sourcing and technical support, Quality qualifications, product cost reduction efforts, and capital equipment. Manage direct reports to develop manufacturing methods, design and coordinate all new assembly tooling and equipment (machinery) design and sourcing, Develop and release documentation for validation of new processes. Manage production schedule to meet NP launch targets. Transfer of new products from the pilot plant (in-house) to the manufacturing facilities, including the development of the transition plan. Support Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing initiatives Lead project teams to launch new products Launched DUET TRS into Market achieving 65 million in revenue, Project team of the year award. Introduction of SILS Port to market, launch six month ahead for schedule. Reduced material variance on Duet TRS form 15 dollars negative to 5 dollars positive per unit.
