Responsible for all purchasing activity for BOI items related to EPC Transmission & Sub-station project.Sourcing, identifying and purchasing technical and operational supplies required for EPC project.Negotiating with supplier to deliver best result for the company.Conduct Reverse Auction for BOI purchase through SAP Ariba.Placing of Order after getting of necessary approval from higher management. Overseeing the entire purchasing documentation process.Provide manufacturing clearance to vendor as per project requirement.Liaison with customer for document approval, follow-up for inspection and dispatch instruction.Local vendor identification, vendor development and assessment.Expediting and coordinating the approval process of drawings/ documents from Vendor as well as in engineering section.Materials management right from sub-supplier procurement till fabrication till delivery to job site. Issue resolution with customer as well as suppliers for smooth flow of material.Prepare expediting sheet operation wise to effectively monitor the progress of the manufacturing at the Supplier.Accountable for rejection, replacement & resolving issues related to suppliers in region.Follow up & expedite to achieve deliveries by personal visits/desk top expediting through email/phone etc.Accountable for resolving supplier queries post issue of orders by coordinating with the relevant departments.Coordinating customer inspections/ if required accompanying the customer inspector to the factories.Establishing Extensive interface with Customers to drive issue resolution/customer satisfactionReporting to Higher Management on decided frequency.Receipt, review, and distribution of progress reports and technical documents from supplier to Projects and vice-a-versa post review.Preparation, review, and issuance of MIS reports like weekly MR and PO milestone reports, Bi-weekly Supply Status reports, Monthly Supply Status reports.
