I’m an Austin-based finance executive with 20 years of corporate finance and investing experience with venture- and PE-backed businesses. My superpower is bridging narrative and numbers to simplify the spectrum strategic and financial decisions (and operator/investor perspectives) that face high-growth companies. I enjoy applying the pattern recognition of over a decade in tech investing to the unique opportunities and challenges of early-stage companies. Some of my areas of expertise include strategic planning, FP & A, fundraising, M&A, investor relations & board management, business intelligence, and building/scaling financial operations. I\'ve spent the past 5 years as the first finance leader and builder at early-stage, venture-backed startups, including Workweek (professional networks), Priori (enterprise legaltech), and LitLingo (AI-enabled enterprise compliance tech). Earlier in my career, I spent over a decade as a private equity investor focused on technology and business services, most recently at SNH Capital and Advantage Capital in Austin, TX. I began my career in middle-market growth and buyout investing at Seaport Capital in New York.In my spare time, I build and support woman-focused communities and provide pro bono consulting to under-represented entrepreneurs and non-profits.
