Opening new files in our accounting system, including saving retaineragreements and taking payments• Preparing, and reviewing prebills in a timely manner, monthly or on request,including any necessary follow up with others in the Firm and revising accordingto the client billing guidelines.• Preparing invoices and forwarding to clients as required.• Monitoring and reviewing of outstanding WIP (Work in Progress) and followingup with lawyers and staff to ensure timely billing.• Following up with clients regarding their account and taking payments• Posting disbursement invoices to appropriate files• Closing files in Accounting Software• meeting with clients and potential clients, through phone and walk-ins;• opening files in Soluno and Tasks in MS Outlook;• attending to the general organization of the practice to ensure its smooth dayto day operation
