ABOUT RAMSEY WOMACK

Ramsey has over two decades of professional experience in financial accounting. His areas of expertise include manufacturers, professional service companies, oil & gas companies, construction contractors, distributors, and non-profit organizations. Ramsey provides specialized support in the areas of business combinations, equity transactions, consolidations, finance and treasury. Before joining The Plank Companies, Ramsey was a Managing Director at WG Consulting, an audit shareholder with Fitts Roberts, an operations manager with Home Depot and was a Captain in the United States Army, specializing in logistics. He is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) where he currently serves on the Leadership Council and previously served for over a decade on the Board of Directors and served a year as the chair of the Professional Standards Committee. He is a member of the Houston Chapter of the TSCPA where he served as the president for the 2019/2020 year. He served three years on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Council and served for six years on the Board of Directors for the Houston A&M Club. Ramsey earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University. Ramsey was named the 20••••11 Houston CPA Society – Young CPA of the Year, the 20••••20 Houston CPA Society – Significant Contribution by a Member in Industry, the 20••••22 Houston CPA Society Presidential Citation and the 20••••24 Distinguished Service to the Profession.
