About Alex Ramos

Cybersecurity professional with over a decade of technology experience across multiple domains and industries. Alex is employed by Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) where he leads cybersecurity efforts for a portfolio of advanced undersea C4I systems in support of US Navy Submarine Forces; Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) operations; and Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) capabilities.Alex continues his dedication to the cybersecurity field as a volunteer with the US Coast Guard (USCG) Auxiliary, where he serves as Chief of the National Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance Division, leading policy framework development and supply chain risk management processes across the organization. He is also among the first cohort of AUXCYBER Augmentation Program members providing maritime cybersecurity support to the Coast Guard, where he serves as the embedded Auxiliary Cyber Advisor for USCG Sector San Diego supporting Maritime Transport System security posture, as well as representing the Auxiliary as part of the San Diego Area Maritime Security Committee (AMSC).
