Ramonita is the Chief Executive Officer at the Spanish American Committee, which is the oldest and largest Hispanic social service agency in Cleveland, Ohio. The agency has been dedicated to serving the Latino community for over 55 years, and its mission is to create and nurture sustainable opportunities for Hispanic/Latino/Latinx families. Our comprehensive programs encompass a range of services including GED assistance, workforce development, pre- to post-homeownership support, early childhood education, and family assistance. We address various barriers faced by our community, offering translation services and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. Additionally, our Latino Construction Program provides valuable training for individuals interested in pursuing careers in the construction industry.
