I am thrilled to be in my new role as the Director of Development at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts and excited to become part of an organization that has been a cornerstone of artistic inspiration and community engagement in Hamilton for over 30 years. I am particularly excited about partnerships and growth into Liberty Township and West Chester to firmly establish us as the seat of art and culture in Butler County.The Fitton Center\'s dedication to fostering creativity and connection through the arts resonates deeply with me. The center\'s work appeals to my values of the transformative power of the arts, social justice and social enterprise. I strongly believe in the power of art to uplift individuals and transform communities into more vibrant, cohesive, interconnected, enriching places to live, work and play. Fitton is special among community art centers in that it is truly woven into the fabric of the cultural and economic development of Hamilton; It led the way in a community Renaissance! Hamiltonians care deeply about their community - and it shows. They embrace art as uniquely qualified to build community.I spearhead fundraising initiatives to enrich the community through the arts. This involves strategic planning, donor relationship management, and building business partnerships. I do this by cultivating strong relationships with local businesses and patrons, enhancing community support and promoting sponsorship opportunities. In addition, I oversee our grant program and reporting, and helping to secure new funding streams that contribute to the Fitton Center\'s growth.With each new art exhibit opening, at each of the 50+ a year, blow-the-roof-off performances, at each outreach program and art class, I am inspired and more dedicated to enhancing donor engagement to ensure the sustainability of our amazing programs. Each day I am surrounded by beautiful views of the Great Miami river in the center of a bustling, cozy, vibrant and growing city.
