ABOUT RAMONA SALAMUCHA
In my current role, I provide innovative and strategic advice in the areas of ESG and sustainability, corporate governance and disclosure. I gravitate to the intersection of law and public policy and enjoy working with senior leaders in the company and industry to advocate on key policy issues impacting the energy sector. My broad legal experience includes corporate, governance, securities, environmental, and regulatory law - including advising on major energy infrastructure projects across Canada. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to represent the interests of a diverse range of clients, including industry, Indigenous groups, landowners and municipalities. My way of working is as a collaborator and connector - bringing people together to balance interests, generate ideas and achieve results. I have a passion for positive change and have led a number of value-added initiatives within the company, including a rotation program for the Legal Services department, an in-house course on regulatory processes and a Legal Update service. My experience also includes decision effectiveness and Agile methodologies.
