ABOUT RAMON OCALLAGHAN

Academic entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in business schools as scholar, administrator, and institutional builder. Current position: President of Gisma University of Applied Sciences, in Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany.Previous positions in academic management: Dean of Porto Business School, affiliated with the University of Porto, Portugal; Dean of the Graduate School of Business at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan (in strategic collaboration with the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University); Dean of Tias Business School, Tilburg University in the Netherlands; Director Deusto Business School and Vice Rector, University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain; Associate Dean International Affairs and Director MSc Programs in Business, School of Economics, Tilburg University; Associate Dean Tias Business School and Director International Executive MBA program, a joint program with Purdue University (USA); and Director MBA Program at Nyenrode University in The Netherlands.
