Role includes hiring, leading and coordinating facilities and housekeeping teams to ensure optimal quality service in a pristine environment, as well as overseeing the gallery, hospitality and kitchen spaces and performing monthly preventive maintenance, servicing HVAC, electrical, landscaping, plumbing, and fire protection systems to meet OSHA and Health and Food compliance and regulations. Key benchmarks of success are ensuring a safe work environment, enforcing regulatory requirements, implementing action plans to minimize downtime, and prompt, clear communication with partners on the regional preservation team to source vendors and service providers-Conducts quality walks with senior leaders and vested parties to inspected facilities and ensured compliance with safety and regulatory requirements-Successfully troubleshoots and resolves facilities issues, developing action plans to minimize downtime and impact on customer-Proactively inspects, maintains, and repairs kitchen equipment to prevent breakdowns and assist with optimal performance-Ensures equipment is installed, maintained, and operated in compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards-Develops strong relationships with equipment suppliers, service providers, and manufacturers ensuring timely support and repairs-Coordinates monthly, quarterly and annual inspections, including fire systems, elevators, and life safety systems, overseeing emergency preparedness, including evacuation procedures and contingency plans-Own the safety program leading a team of 8 security guards safekeeping the gallery 24/7.
