I am the Washington National Office Tax Lead for international tax matters for RSM US LLP, a large public accounting firm focused on the middle market. Currently, I lead a team of 10+ international tax professionals in the National Office focused on providing high level technical advice to field professionals around the firm and directly to clients. In addition, my team develops service ideas and tools to support the consistent and efficient delivery of tax services on a national basis. I am committed to CDI and over 50% of my team is diverse.I am a lawyer by training with over 30 years experience in cross border tax matters including Financial transactions, M&A, Tax Information Reporting and Withholding, Tax Accounting, IRS Representation and IRS Controversy work. I have worked at the National Office of the IRS (Chief Counsel International) and in the national offices of various large professional services firms. Over the years I have served a wide variety of clients ranging from private client/family offices to fortune 50 multinational corporations. I was formerly chair of the D.C. bar international tax section. Specialties: Cross Border taxation, financial products, Private equity, securitizations, competent authority representation.
