About Ramnik Dhaliwal

Dr. Dhaliwal is a dual trained emergency and internal medicine physician, and an attorney. He also has a background in computer science and programming that includes work at the National Defense University and Government Accountability Office, Dr. Dhaliwal’s unique skill set has continued to enable him to serve in leadership positions including past president of the member Emergency Resident Association and Medical Director of Urgent Care of Hennepin County Medical Center. He has worked on hospital and system wide initiatives in the realm of provider risk, standardization of care, patient safety, and quality improvement. He is Board certified in Emergency Medicine and has also passed the Bar in Minnesota. He currently resides in Denver, Colorado where he works for Carepoint Health where he is the Director of Government Affairs and is also the Assistant Medical Director of the ED at SkyRidge Medical Center. On the side, Ricky has helped multiple startups in the Health Care arena. He continues to do legislative advocacy work in the state and nationally related to health care and serves as Immediate Past President of Colorado Chapter for American College of Emergency Physicians, Headed the EM State ACEP Covid Task Force, serves on multiple committees at the National Level for the American College of Emergency Physicians, is on the Legislative Committee at Colorado Medical Society, and serves on various committees and task forces within the State of Colorado.
