Oversee plant – Assembly division activities for Safety, Production, Planning activities for entire Chennai Plant. Experienced in Labour productivity and Head count Optimization Projects for Demand Variation. Planning and Production with Level loading resources to meet customer demand Oversee Safety, Quality, Productivity and Delivery Performance Administer entire production functions and ensure compliance of all statutory requirements such as OH & S etc with companies’ set procedures and Govt./Industrial norms. Efficiently setup the daily production targets for all the production lines and guide the team to attain the same. Reduce waste using Lean Manufacturing Concepts. Devise and implement standardized work for every production sectors. Experienced in Labour productivity and Head count Optimization Projects for Demand Variation Planning and Production with Level loading resources to meet customer demand Implement 5S house keeping system at the shop-floor. Deploy 5 S activities, ensure training and adherence to 5 S procedures. Monitor and audit 5 S practices; Take action to improve implementation at shop floor. Train operators and executives on 5 S and review effectiveness. Continuously monitor and mentor direct reportees to achieve the set targets. Conduct Half yearly and Annual appraisals. Identify and Promote talent. Identify training needs and in coordination with Human resources ensure timely execution of the training programs. Conduct individual development program for long term career planning and individual development.
