ABOUT RAMITH RAMESH
Ramith is an IT Audit Professional with over a decade of experience in the IT Risk Advisory and Assurance domain. He was a Manager at Deloitte India’s Risk Advisory – Assurance Practice and an IT Audit Manager at KPMG UK (London). He is currently working with British Telecom (BT Group) as a Risk & Controls Manager in their Group Finance Shared Service (GFSS) Program Delivery & Transitions team. He is also pursuing an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School, UK. Ramith has rich experience working on SOX and non-SOX engagements (including Manual and automated controls testing for Business Processes and IT General controls (ITGC)) involving ERPs like SAP, Oracle etc. He has also worked on internal audits, SSAE16 assurance engagements and engagements involving Journal entry analytics. He was actively involved in performing control rationalization and identifying the scope for automation and analytics on a couple of SAP ERP-based ITES clients. He has also developed work plans/standardisation matrices for conducting IT audits. Ramith was seconded to Deloitte UK (London) for 3 months duration in 2015. He travelled to a client based in the US for 2 weeks to conduct an IT audit in 2019. He has international exposure to performing IT general controls (ITGC) and automated controls testing. Ramith attended Oracle ERP IT security training for a week in 2018 at the prestigious Deloitte University based in Singapore. He conducted 5-day ITGC boot camp training for professionals in Deloitte Sri Lanka in 2019. Ramith has managed and coached small teams across several engagements and conducted several pieces of training at Deloitte India and KPMG UK for new joiners and professionals. He was also part of the SAP SME group at KPMG UK which assists teams with technical queries and guidance on IT audits.
