About Isidora Ramírez Mauna

Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, I moved to the United States during the pandemic and recently lived in Québec, Canada. Alongside my love for dance, travel and art, I take every opportunity to volunteer for social work and try to make a positive difference. I believe people will remember you more by what you did, not by what you said.In my current roles, I strive to improve people\'s lives through one-on-one interactions. That is exactly why I decided to study Public Relations. Miscommunication is far too common in today’s world, and I am committed to becoming a professional who champions transparency, honesty and meaningful connections.Living abroad and navigating different languages and cultures has given me a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives. From slang and food to songs and dances (and much more), I believe there are more things that unite us than separate us. Listening to people’s stories and learning about their unique experiences has made me a better person. I aspire to be a bridge connecting languages, cultures, borders and mindsets—helping create a future where communication breaks down barriers and builds stronger communities.

   x At my current position, I support the NYC Corporate Purpose and Social Impact team by conducting reporter research, building targeted media lists, crafting and distributing tailored pitches, verifying media trackers, and contributing to campaign brainstorming sessions. Our clients include GoFundMe, Goodwill, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the Reeve Foundation, Verizon, HelloFresh, and the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
