ABOUT RAMI MASOUD

A Junior Mechanical engineer, with a Thesis and Internship in the field of Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality at Mercedes-Benz AG. During my internship with Mercedes-Benz AG, I gained hands-on experience in sampling and evaluating purchased parts, controlling approvals of components and processes, and supporting supplier quality evaluations. In addition, I assisted with report writing, management presentations, and project evaluations, which allowed me to hone my analytical, critical thinking, and presentation skills. My thesis work at Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement and Supplier Quality involved developing a quality assurance process to check for electric car inverters\' mechanical designs. I conducted an intensive analysis of the inverters\' design theory, consulted with specialized supply quality engineers in the field, and piloted the optimizations in state-of-the-art eATS systems. My work resulted in the development of important concerns and supporting information for product and process development, as well as an extension of current suppliers\' and quality engineers\' training materials. Today, the thesis work is being used by quality engineers as a tool to help them with assuring and controlling the quality of purchased parts.
