Throughout my career I noticed the biggest thing that can cause anything to fail, from projects to just relationships, is communication. I see myself as a leader, who helps others succeed. I pride myself on having 3 turnovers in my team since 2014. Not to mention having many employees follow me from company to company to continue working on my team and grow. I am a people person, I have been told that “your communication style is storytelling”, having the ability to adapt and connect with whomever I am talking to and translate technology for them, no matter their technical level. For Inception we accomplished a lot, which is seen on my resume. A few major points I am proud of is finding a way where all ISP is billed through one invoice as well as supported through one portal. Anyone dealing with many locations nationwide can tell you what a pain for support and accounting that can be. As well as getting everyone unified through Azure AD and In tune. One of my most memorable projects was for Atlantic LNG in Trinidad. At the time I worked for Engica, a software company where we developed a permitting software. For those unfamiliar with oil and gas world, you need a permit to do any work onsite, from changing a lightbulb to working on a pipeline. At the time we took their paper system and created a customized electronic permitting system. I got to sit with the Atlantic team and discuss their current types of permits and workflow to assist in designing the electronic system. After the design phase and everything was signed off, we started developing and testing. I loved interacting with the Atlantic team in Trinidad, while there we even went out multiple times to play soccer “Futbol” together. Building those relationships is big for me. Once the system has been built tested and approved we started the implementation phase along with the coaching and training the trainers. I was in charge of this project from design to support, it was an amazing experience. It is important to understand the latest in technology products and solutions. It is changing fast. Having a clear understanding of adaptation, doing what’s best for the business as well as keeping the business informed on what more effective solutions there are.
