ABOUT RAMI REDDY

9+ years of experience in design & development of Automotive BIW System design (both upper body & under body components). Currently supporting for 3MKA project Upper Body department using CATIA V6 (HONDA ADC, NA region). Supported Design Engineers during 3MJA and 3MKA release activities during various events while working with VMC department. Well versed with new HONDA process like DPM using K6 and AHEAD methods and basic knowledge about Honda systems like NEWS, HES & ZUREN. Supported drawing release events for 3MJ/3MKA and for quality checks. Previously worked with ASHOK LEY LAND LCV project- as a senior engineer for complete upper body. Worked on Bada Dost project for BIW upper body side & A-pillar, B-pillar Roof assembly and fitting parts Roof, molding Design and Development. Benchmarking and layout setup for new design of the upper body with respect to the new styling data received from the Studio. Exposure of complete product life cycle of vehicle development from concept design to start of production. Complete understanding of manufacturing requirement (Press / Weld / Paint / Assy-shop) to design Upper body panels. Skilled in 3D Modeling, Surfacing, Drafting, and Detailing with GD & T. Complete making proto-CAB using CATIA V6 while working with ASHOK LEY LAND. Complete CAB making using CATIA V6 & 3D Experience GSD, part, Assembly and drafting. DMU validation before releasing the parts and drawings. EBOM preparation for BIW CAB. Worked On Installation Assembly of Automotive Subsystem. Discussion with plant process team to solve the plant related & Vehicle related concerns.
