ABOUT RAMI BOU HASSAN
A food industry professional who is passionate about food innovation, operations management and sustainability. In 2019, I co-founded \'Food Sight,\' an online consultancy firm specializing in food safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and export readiness. Despite being a recent graduate from the American University of Beirut (AUB) with minimal practical knowledge in the industry, this experience helped me discover my passion for food business management. Since then, I have worked as a food safety supervisor and operations manager at Sweet Cake Bakery. These positions have provided me with invaluable experience including enhancing my interdisciplinary skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace. As an ambitious professional, I believe that quick learning and a willingness to contribute are essential for success in any workplace. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work on several community projects with local and international organizations such as Rotaract, LOYAC Lebanon, and MMKN. These projects aimed to promote fellowship, strategic analytical competencies, interpersonal skills, and inspire others to-take-action in their communities. To further my career in the food and beverage sector, I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in International Food and Beverage Management at ESCP Business School. I am confident that this program will provide me with a deeper understanding of the global food industry and equip me with the necessary knowledge and expertise to succeed in a competitive and ever-changing environment.
