Review technical Specification and schedule of quantities for geotechnical Investigation and Civil, Structural & Architectural works. Review the technical comparative and resolve the deviation, if any. Help contracts deptt. for finalization of vendors for Civil Engg. package. Ensure the timely release of construction drawings to project sites: BTG area – Boiler & ESP foundation, ID duct support foundation, Main plant building, TG foundation, Transformer foundation, Fan foundation, Transformer yard, Mill foundation, Bunker building, Service building, Pipe / cable rack, Cable trench, Compressor building, ESP control room, Air washer building, DG building, Chimney, Switchyard etc. BOP area – Cooling tower, CW system, Raw water system, Raw water reservoir, Ash handling system, Ash dyke, Coal handling system, Water treatment plant, Effluent treatment plant, Fire fighting system, Mill reject system, Fuel oil building, Warehouse, fire station, Make up water / fire water pump house etc. Site infrastructure – Road & drain, Boundary wall & main gate complex, Construction power, Field hostel, Watch tower etc. Prepare quarterly budget requirement for civil package. Ensure the timely procurement of structural steel and reinf. steel for the project. Review the project schedule & micro planning of different activities of site execution. Review the site execution w.r.t. Project schedule and stipulated budget. Ensure the payment of vendors on time. Certify extra items and help contracts department in amending the work order. Resolve contractual dispute with the vendor.
