I am a US citizen from Raleigh, NC, USA. I have over 25 years of experience in cyber security and IT fields. I am a certified zero trust cybersecurity professional from Zscaler and CSA. I consulted and implemented many information and cyber security projects in the finance, energy, utilities and industrial sectors. The current focus includes cyber security of financial systems, automotive, Operational Technology, Internet of Things and the industrial internet systems. My recent projects include data protection, encryption, tokenization, architecting solutions to protect sensitive information. My past employers include BB & T, PG & E, Exelon, IBM, HP, and Unisys. At BB & T, I was in their data protection group. At PG & E and Exelon, I managed and led cyber security teams to secure the smart grid systems. At IBM, I grew their Security and Privacy practice with my leadership role in security projects of IBM’s prestigious customers. I also hold CISSP and automotive security certificates. In the past, I held CISA and PMP certificates. I worked with national cyber security professionals to develop NIST smart grid Cyber security standards. I have knowledge of NIST cyber security frameworks. Knowledgeable in the security aspects of Public, Private and Hybrid cloud architectures. Certified in automotive cybersecurity standard ISO/SAE 21423 and UNECE WP29. My past assignments include international postings in Europe and Canada. I worked with Europeans of various nationalities and knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese languages. Communicated with C-level executives and executed projects using globally distributed teams and cross-functional groups. I hold multiple graduate degrees including an MBA in High Technology Management. In the past, I had performed strategic planning, product competitive and industry sector analysis activities.
