Key responsibility to ensure that all the program activities related goals are met through accurate accounting procedures and reports and ensure processes are in place to support the organizational procedure and policy and donor specific requirement.*Efficiently running the organization financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis;*Internal controls, procedures, and policies are understood, practice and complied with by all staffCoordinate with the statutory auditors, Donor auditors and ensure unqualified audit reports.*Developing annual plan in coordination with the Program & Executive Director.*Maintenance and regular updating of the organization financial management documents, including cash-flow forecasts, balance sheets and annual plan and MIS.*Work with resource mobilization team at the time of proposal writing for budgeting before being submitted to the potential donor.*Compliance with all applicable statutory and fiduciary regulations (e.g. FCRA Registration, & taxation and other laws applicable on NGO sector).*Compliance with the donor’s agreements.*Co-ordinate and maintain a cash forecasting system to ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the working requirements of the programs.*Monitor ongoing levels of expenditure on individual programs against budget, and provide timely advice of likely over or under-spends to the Programme Director.* Liaise with local legal advisors when necessary.* Orientation and training of staff and consultants on the financial reporting procedures.* Managing the administrative aspects of procurement and financial management for all locations
