Ramar Sundaram is an Aerospace Professional, Indian Air Force Veteran, currently serving as Director, Aerospace & Defense at Jeanuvs, prior to this the Chairman & CEO of Global Aerospace Technologies, an ecosystem for Aerospace & Space Excellence.He is an Aerospace professional with over three decades of strategic leadership experience in the operational strategy and business strategy planning, executing and spearheading excellence by providing end to end product in design & manufacturing solutions and software for Aviation, Aerospace & Space clients requirements.His career started with the Indian Air Force, working in Jaguar and Mirage aircraft. After voluntary retirement from the service, he joined with the private Aerospace manufacturing companies into product design, manufacture and deliver to commercial and defense aerospace clients globally. His recent role in Aerospace business experience with BAE Systems, Collins Aerospace, CIRCOR, GE, BFL, HAL, DRDO, ISRO, BEL, BDL on Aerospace & Defense components manufacturing as per the client specifications of the aircraft systems and subsystems. He is a keen Researcher & Strategic Advisor in Aerospace, Space, Aviation and Medical. He has been awarded CAS Commendation Medal & Certificate by Chief of the Air Staff in the year 1997 in recognition of his outstanding achievement of making Jaguar Alternators Serviceable in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations for carrying out major overhaul service at Base Maintenance Bay service facility itself. He has extensive experience in AS9100D Quality Management Systems and maintained all time high operational aircraft availability by timely completion of Aircraft MRO & Systems Components Tests and Certification to Aircraft Fit for Flying.
