ABOUT JAYACHANDRA BABU RAMAPURAM
Dr. Jayachandra Babu Ramapuram is a Professor of Pharmaceutics at the Harrison College of Pharmacy, Auburn University, AL. His research focuses on advanced drug delivery systems, including 3D printed biomedical implants, nanotechnology-based formulations for topical, transdermal, and oral administration, chemotherapeutic delivery, and strategies to enhance the solubility and bioavailability of poorly water-soluble drugs. He also explores innovative techniques to improve skin permeability and optimize percutaneous absorption. Dr. Ramapuram has mentored numerous PhD scholars and postdoctoral fellows, with his research supported by federal agencies and pharmaceutical companies. He has made substantial contributions to the field through peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (FAAPS) and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (FAIMBE), and has been recognized in Stanford University\'s list of the “World’s Top 2%” scientists based on publication citations.
