I am currently focusing on enabling accurate and automated demand forecasting facilitating best in class operations planning process for world-wide Amazon physical stores and Grocery business focused on USA, Europe, Japan, India and other emerging markets. I am a big believer in the scaling a robust S & OP process with ML enabled tools/products to walk the tight rope of delivering a stellar customer experience (best selling inventory always in stock delivered at the earliest) at a cost structure optimized for profit maximization.Prior to this I have worked on improving the \"Customer Returns\" experience by optimizing the reverse logistics supply chain for Amazon driving a sustainable cost structure for emerging markets in Middle East, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Singapore. Earlier, I have been wearing multiple hats in retail landscape in Middle east, be it leading the CEO\'s office for Emax, Landmark Group (biggest consumer retail outfit in middle east with sales of over $10 Bn) or conceptualizing and orchestrating various strategy projects for the President’s office at M. H. Alshaya, a leading MENA retailer with topline>$5 Bn.Leveraging a diverse range of experiences across product management, Supply chain, Operations, Finance and Customer Service, I lead by establishing robust mechanisms aimed at streamlining business processes at scale with technology and empathy. Having top ranks during B.Tech and M. Tech at IIT Bombay and MBA from IIM Bangalore, I have been groomed into a balanced business owner focused on driving profitable growth.
