    I am a researcher in the IBM Center for Blockchain Innovation in Singapore, on assignment from IBM Research - India in Bangalore, where I was in a similar role. My current focus is on blockchain and smart contracting technology, and I have a particular interest in the security and privacy aspects of this technology. I have been involved in the development and testing of applications on the Hyperledger Fabric platform since its genesis in late 2015. I have also led the design and implementation of seminal use cases in the areas of trade-finance and KYC on the Fabric platform to serve prominent international banks and corporations.I my previous role, I was a researcher in the Mobile and Telecom Research Group at IBM Research - India in New Delhi. My interests lay primarily in the areas of mobile and ubiquitous computing, security, analytics, mobile commerce, service-oriented computing, and cloud computing.In this role, I conducted research, generated innovative ideas, and built and experimented with prototype systems, to advance the state-of-the-art as well as expand IBM\'s business portfolio. I also investigated the business needs of IBM\'s clients, and design, implement, and deliver software solutions to them.I worked on projects in a wide range of areas that include mobile commerce, mobile and back-end analytics, security, identity management, and social networking. I have been active in generating ideas for IBM\'s future business outlook. I have mentored interns, and led software projects involving other researchers and application developers.
