Responsibilities:Occupational Health & Safety (OH & S)• Ensure the hazard identification & risk management for all sites are available• Actively participate in OH & S inspections and audits including corrective actions. All actions are closed out in the required time frame.• Ensure all hazards and incidents are reported and investigated appropriately and suitable controls are implemented.• Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained and servicing and calibration is in date• Complete OH & S training for Managers and Supervisors.• Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviors.• To report any injury, hazard or illness as soon as possible to their supervisor.Continual Quality Improvement (CQI)• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs.• Assist to maintain records of CQI observations.• Assists in the coordination of training of staff in line with issues identified through Quality Control (QM) process & maintain records.• Audit the proper operation of clinical equipment by checking regular maintenance and calibrationSite and Internal Departmental Audits• Conducting audit program covering all sites and departments.• Support Site and Operations staff in the development and implementation of plans of action following the audit process.• Liaise with MS Operations Manager on the progress of the POA and priorities for urgent action.Audit and Admin Tasks• Ensure that monthly admin and audit tasks are effectively communicated to all sites and that communication has been confirmed• Monitor the progress of each site plan of action to ensure timeframes for full compliance can be met.• Escalate identified barriers to full compliance.• Ensure Monthly admin / audit report is analyzed and opinions are formed for further action if relevant.Training• Based on audit and task findings analyze training needs in conjunction with the MS training department.
