Expertise in production includes ram material handling, inventory management, safety, quality improvement, operations, scheduling and preventative maintenance• Led a team of 70 members responsible for raw material handling, including 12 members of management staff, ensuring uninterrupted workflow and realization of production targets• Spearheaded the change of fuel used from coal to pet coke in kiln firing, based on my previous experience with manufacturing white cement. This resulted in reduced storage area, lesser number of materials, minimized costs, lowered fire & explosion hazard and reduction in emissions• Demonstrated process improvement by using the bed ash produced as waste from the boiler of the Captive Power Plant (CPP), by mixing it with gypsum, and thus making the mixture ready for cement grinding. Received “Innovate to Excel” award for the same
