I am Ram Kandalkar, an IIT Bombay graduate with a dual degree in Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science and a minor in AI and Data Science. I am currently working as a Senior Associate Data Scientist at Publicis Sapient, delivering data-driven and AI-powered solutions. My background spans both research and industry, including research internships at the University of Alberta, University of North Carolina, and IIM Mumbai, as well as corporate internships at Beardo as a Data Analyst Intern and at Saralx as an AI Engineer Intern, where I worked on applied machine learning and production-focused AI use cases.I focus on building end-to-end AI systems, combining Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, backend development, and AI engineering. I have hands-on experience developing production-ready ML services using FastAPI, working with Agentic AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and deploying scalable AI solutions. I aspire to grow as a Full-Stack AI Engineer, bridging research with real-world impact, and I am always open to meaningful connections and collaborations.
