Responsible for the hypersonic re-entry analysis for Varda W-series capsules (currently in orbit). This is done by maintaining a database with aerodynamic coefficients throughout our re-entry flight trajectory, which includes hypersonic/supersonic/transonic/subsonic regimes. Work involves chemically reacting RANS-based CFD (FUN3D/LAURA) and various aerodynamic analytical analyses (Newtonian method/Panel Codes/etc).
