ABOUT RALPH VALENTINE CRISOSTOMO
As a Postdoctoral Scientist at Cedars-Sinai, I investigate molecular mechanisms that regulate immune cell function and identify pathways that can be targeted to modulate chronic inflammatory responses.I earned my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at UCLA, where I developed a strong foundation in genome engineering, hematopoietic stem cell biology, and gene therapy. My doctoral work focused on gene regulation and the development of CRISPR-based strategies to treat severe combined immunodeficiencies. I am driven by the potential of translational medicine to bridge fundamental discoveries with patient-centered therapies.Always happy to connect with others in immunology, inflammation, and gene therapy.
