Board level experienced telecommunications professional with a record of innovation, improvement and delivery. A German national who has lived and worked across Europe and Australia over the last 20 years. Career highlights include: Established the COO function for Australia’s largest ever infrastructure program to provide 93% of the population with Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) by 2021. Delivered Fiber connections in the first full financial year, substantial parts of a Transit network and 400 Fixed Wireless Base Stations Connected customers in the first 18 month of the roll out. Achieved take up rates of up to 70% in fiber serving areas. Delivered a full set of BSS/OSS capability to support the network roll out as well as Service Delivery and Assurance capability scaling up to 12 million connections. Reduced lead times for international data services from 70+ days to 11 days by developing and embedding Service Manufacturing principles Deployed 21CN from 20••••07, enabling the delivery of the next generation Broadband network across the UK, which grew from 200k customers to 10m+ within four years. Provisioned 10k customers/day at peak Capital expenditure for legacy products was reduced from £750m to £300m annually with-in 2 years by applying best in class planning models and re-negotiating supply contracts Delivered the first Pan European Fibre Network in extending to across 12 countries. The €1bn project was delivered below budget and ahead of schedule.
