Started my career as Cobol programmer and liked more technical work - this lead to me doing mostly online programming and database technical work. This lead to a natural move from mainframe to Unix and then to SAP Basis (which at time also included SAP Security). Most of the Basis work envolved doing security work as this was an area SAP still needed to develop their product to what it is today. This is still an area which still demands plenty of skills, and is challenging, due to it constantly changing. I have worked in SAP security on a number of modules. Been involved in a number of global roleouts (some small and some large). These include HR (structual auths), FI and BW (BI), CRM. These have been with and without CUA. While at BAT part of team that implemented the GRC toolset (RAR, CUP) and have good understanding of the rulesets defined within the tools. I have limited exprience with Portals (mainly for the BW/BI).Specialties: SAP Security and Authorisations. SAP GRC (Access Controls).
