Ralph is a Chartered Professional Accountant - Chartered Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator, Certified Hotel Administrator, and Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive with over 35-years of operations and consulting experience in the hospitality industry.A graduate from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems, Ralph joined Coopers & Lybrand, where after he obtained his designation as a Chartered Accountant, went on to lead the Western Canada Hospitality Industry Practise at PricewaterhouseCoopers.In 1997 Ralph co-founded Inntegrated Hospitality Management Ltd. and since that time has been providing third party management and consulting services for clients with interests in accommodation, food & beverage, gaming, and destination resort/vacation club developments.Ralph has lead more than 50 management and property repositioning engagements, has completed numerous valuation, feasibility, and market position assignments, and has provided \"expert witness\" testimony in both the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Queens Bench in Alberta, on valuation and quantification of loss issues for business in the hospitality and tourism industry.In 2012 Ralph was appointed Vice Chair of the Financial Management Committee (\"FMC\"), of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (\"AHLA\"), and Chair of the Food & Beverage Sub-Committee, for the purpose of revising the 10th Edition of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (\"USALI\"). While continuing as a member of the AHLA, FMC, Ralph joined the Global Finance Committee (\"GFC\") of the Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (\"HFTP\"), for the purpose of revising the 11th Edition of the USALI.Ralph is a co-author of the 11th Revised Edition of the USALI, published in May 2014, and the 12th Revised Edition of the USALI published in July 2024.Ralph specializes in: Financial Reporting, Valuation, Loss Quantification, Litigation Support, Asset Management, Operations Management, Distress Property Management, and Market Repositioning assignments in the hospitality industry
