Trailblazer is a private oil and gas company with over acres in South and East Texas. Trailblazer is focused on developing and exploiting, Eagle Ford, Austin Chalk, Buda Rose formations and multiple other prospective zones in this stacked-pay target rich East Texas basin. Trailblazer is actively drilling In the South Texas Eagle Ford and searching for value enhancing acquisitions. Over three decades of experience in the energy industry including upstream, midstream, downstream and R&M/retail. Previous experience includes President and Chief Executive Officer of WPX Energy. Before leading the spin off of WPX Energy from Williams in late 2011, served as President of Williams Exploration and Production from 2002 until the spin. WPX was the ninth largest natural gas producer in the nation. Additional Williams experience included roles of increasing responsibility: vice president of Williams Gas Marketing, senior vice president and general manager of Williams Production and Williams Field Services Gas and Liquids Resources, senior vice president of Williams Petroleum Services and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Apco Oil and Gas International, from 2002 until 2014, as well as a director for Petrolera Entre Lomas S.A.I serve on the board of the the University of Missouri College of Business Trulaske Dean\'s Advisory Board including a two year term as Board Chair, the University of Tulsa Collins College of Business Executive Advisory Board. Previously served on the boards of Youth Services of Tulsa, Thomas Gilcrease Museum, American Heart Association including a term as Chair, Tulsa Stadium Trust, One Mizzou National Campaign Cabinet, Indian Nations Boy Scout Board of Directors. Native of St. Joseph, Missouri and earned an MBA from the University of Tulsa and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
