He has been an acknowledged leader in the field of high purity gas analysis for over 25 years and frequently serves as a subject matter expert for organizations such as ASTM, CGA, ISBT, and ISO. As CMO his primary goal is to ensure current customer satisfaction while also finding new customers and business applications where AAL’s analytical services can prove beneficial.He previously worked as a Senior Engineer for Corning Incorporated at their premier research complex, Sullivan Park, in upstate New York, where he served as an expert in hazardous gas safety and experimental design. In addition to revising all on-site safety procedures concerning specialty gas work, Ralph contributed to the establishment, organization, and staffing of a formal Process Hazard Review Board, which was responsible for ensuring safe operations for all new research projects conducted on campus.Ralph’s first job in the gas industry after graduating from Cornell University was at Air Products and Chemicals headquarters in Allentown, PA in their electronics division. During his tenure, he successfully completed multiple complex on-site analytical projects for companies such as Intel, Motorola, Applied Materials, Hewlett Packard, and MIT, among others. Subsequently, he transitioned to the division’s Research and Development team, where he conducted experimentation focused on plasma reaction chemistry. His work in the lab directly led to numerous papers, publications, and three United States patents.
