Corporate Governance Officer @IFC - International Finance Corporation

Working with IFC since 2008 focusing on capacity building of regulators, director training institutions and private sector companies in improving their corporate governance practices in Europe and Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa and Asia. I have been leading the development of knowledge materials on Corporate Governance Codes and Scorecards, institutional capacity building, and bank governance like Corporate Governance Scorecards toolkit, Guide on Corporate Governance Practices in the European Union publication; development of a Policy brief examining the issue of bank governance in Southeast Europe and follow up publications on bank subsidiary governance and guidance for bank directors. From 2008 to 2010 I was based in the IFC office in Sofia working the development and implementation of the Bulgarian Corporate Governance Code and Scorecard. Prior to joining IFC, I have worked for the United Nations Development Program in Bulgaria as a Coordinator of the UN Global Compact Network for private sector and Bulgarian Foreign Investment Agency. I hold a Master’s degree in Corporate Governance from HANKEN School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland and Masters in Law and Economics from the University of National and World Economy in Bulgaria.
