About Rakesh Warrier
I am a part of the Diageo North America Supply Leadership Development Program (SLDP) in my third rotation. Currently working at Diageo North America as a Innovation Commercialization Specialist; focusing on managing innovation import projects; located in Plainfield, IL.I recently graduated from the Rutgers Business School where I pursued a double major bachelor\'s in Supply Chain Management and Marketing. I picked Supply Chain Management because I am excellent with logistical organization, efficiency management, and facilitating projects. I chose to have a second major in Marketing because of my love and interest in the area. I found that I wanted to go down a path like Strategy as a Supply Chain Manager. I believe that my knowledge achieved from both Supply Chain Management and Marketing would make me the best fit for a role in Strategy due to the skills necessary to follow this path of work. I am also seeking an MBA after spending a few years in the work force. I am looking forward to continuing to work in Supply Chain Management because I believe that this will help me to carve my best path forward to a successful career is Strategy.
